Can it be too hot to lay resin?

We don’t often get asked that question in the UK! There are optimum temperatures to lay resin and, even on our ‘hot’ summer days the temperature doesn’t normally represent a problem.

Unless you are talking to one of our installation team of course!

Bent over double with the sun on their backs is a hard job in 25 degrees of heat. Made a little more challenging because resin tends to cure more quickly in high temperatures, so the team has to work even faster and harder.

In extreme heat conditions there may be times when we need to defer resin laying to protect our team, that hasn’t happened for a long time!
